Freeze-drying pulls the moisture out under vacuum at low temperature. Because the bone is never heated, it stays crumbly rather than turning hard and splintery the way cooked bone does.
The result is a shelf-stable whole chew with nothing added to it — no smoke, no coating, no preservative.

STORAGE AND HANDLING
